We are looking for a professional and passionate Head of Service to lead our team at one of our restaurants at Camping Playa Bara. If you have leadership skills, great attention to detail, and love offering excellent service, we want you with us!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the service staff, including opening and organizing the respective shift.
• Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, following the reception and service protocols.
• Manage reservations and table distribution to optimize service flow.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales strategies with your team, communicating seasonal campaigns and product changes.
• Manage schedules, training, monitoring, and evaluation of the staff under your charge.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and efficient service.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department and head chef to prevent product shortages and ensure an accurate forecast of products.
• Conduct daily briefings, control wastage, open and close the cash register, and reconcile it at the end of each shift.
• Perform inventories and manage service supplies.
• Train and motivate the service team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Resolve any customer incidents or complaints quickly and effectively.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the service area.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Higher Vocational Training in hospitality or similar.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar positions.
• Good level of English, German, and/or Dutch will be valued.
• Valuable knowledge in gastronomy and cocktails, hospitality protocol.
• Other titles, certifications, and licenses are welcome.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Mobility and a driver’s license are essential.
